Respected audience, السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ تعالی وبرکتہ
Muslim parents are responsible for imparting education of Islam (or doing tarbiyah) of their children.
The Quran says: "O you who believe, save yourselves and your families from a fire, the fuel of which is human beings and stones" [66:6]
Prophet ﷺ said: "A man is a shepherd in charge of the inhabitants of his household and he is responsible for his flock; a woman is a shepherdess in charge of her husband's house and children and she is responsible for them" [Abo Dawood, 2928]
Prophet ﷺ said: "There is no gift that a father gives his son more virtuous than good manners." [Tirmidhi, 1952]
Salah is one of the most important components of tarbiyah. Prophet ﷺ said: "Between man and polytheism and unbelief is the abandonment of salah". [Sahih Muslim, 82b]
Below, we provide salah and tarbiyah worksheets in the extremely interactive Q&A format for Muslim parents. Even 5 minutes of daily go-through of these worksheets will inshaAllah facilitate tarbiyah greatly.
May Allah ﷻ do tarbiyah of all Muslim children and parents and facilitate for all of us the path to Paradise. Aameen.
