 Submission Guidelines:

Ashjaar ul Jannah, an independent educational non-profit and publishing house, is currently seeking authors of Islamic books aimed at younger readers. We welcome submissions for titles intended for children and young adult readers that inspire, educate, and engage  Muslim minds.

To ensure your manuscript meets our criteria, please adhere to the following:

1. Target Audience: Readers aged 4-15 (picture books, early readers, YA and chapter books).
2. Word Count: 
   • Picture Books: 500–1,000 words.
   • Early Readers: 1,000–2,500 words.
   • Chapter Books: 7,000–12,000 words.
   • Chapter books (pre-teens-teens)  30,000--60,000 words

1. Manuscript Format: 
   • Typed, double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font.
   • Include a cover page with the title, author’s name, and contact information.
   • Sequentially numbered pages.

1. Content: Stories should align with Islamic values, reflect cultural sensitivity, and captivate young readers. Original content is highly encouraged.
2. Submission Format: 
   • Preferred file types: PDF or Word document.
   • Include a brief synopsis of the story (150–200 words) and a short author bio (100 words).
   • Share the file as an editable google drive link.
   • Attach your manuscript synopsis  (One A4 page briefly describing your book premise, audience and scope) as a separate word doc.
